Attention all, Super Duper will be playing tomorrow night at Skinny’s in North Hollywood. It will be a night packed with great tunes for only $7.
At 8:00, Galileo will open the floodgates. Galileo is an indie-rock quartet featuring myself on guitar and Aaron Solomon on bass, as well as the masterful drumming of Chris Spilsbury and song-writer, vocalist Eric Boydston. We have only been together for a brief time, but we are steadily gaining speed. We will be debuting two new songs tomorrow that rock harder than just about anything we have played before. So if you can make it early, please come check us out.
At 9:00 will be our friends the Black Crystal Wolf Kids, playing your favorite modern covers.
At 10:00, Super Duper will be bringing the goods for the first time in a while.
And of course the headliner that you won’t want to miss, is Metalachi. Two shots of Metal, two shots of Mariachi, several shots of tequila and fun.
If you do happen to come out for the express purpose of seeing BOTH Galileo and Super Duper, please consider saying that you are there for Galileo, at the door. SD has a pretty established fanbase and has very little trouble getting gigs just about anywhere in town, whereas Galileo is still trying to establish our street cred around town with bookers, so any little bit helps. No matter who you come out for, this will be a bitchin’ good time. —Uncle Eb/John
