Glampocalyptic Rocksplosion

If the world is ending tomorrow, we’re the band you want to see tonight.

SUPER DUPER makes a type of music called Glampocalyptic Rocksplosion.

We’re spies from the future.
We’re here to tell you that it doesn’t end well.
We want you to make the most of the time you have.
We want you to spend that time heavy rocking.

The world you live in now is trying to decide whether managing your Facebook feeds or tackling global economic and environmental meltdowns is more important.

We know. It’s confusing. And so are we. You don’t need to understand it. Just accept it.

We came from the future to make music for your times, until you’re out of time. When time bends, these things happen: horns blare, lights flash, red phones ring, people cheer for the apocalypse, spy jazz melts into four-on-the-floor, slow jams melt into flash-pan dance jams. Funk, glam, new wave and glockenspiel waltzes fuse together into a hot, sticky sauce. There is harmony. There is discord. There are people shouting “hey!!” a lot.

To hear SUPER DUPER is to hear stylistic turnabout, but it’s not fair play because we make it seem so easy. To see SUPER DUPER is to melt the silver in your eyes. This is Glampocalyptic Rocksplosion and it’s underway, until we’re all underwater.
